TIME GLOBAL EXPANSION WITH CHINA PARTNERSHIP

VERSALIFT INSULATED AERIAL LIFTS – EXPANDING RELATIONSHIPS IN CHINA

Versalift has grown to become a preferred bucket truck for electric utility “hotline” work throughout many provinces of the People’s Republic of China. Versalifts units are already in regular operation in China, and constant work is being done to continue to support China’s ambitious infrastructure initiatives to eliminate electric power outages, countrywide. Torben Pedersen, Sales Manager for Time International, which is Versalift’s Denmark-based Global Sales Office, was on hand to celebrate the new units at the Qingte Group in Qingdao, Shandong Province. These Versalift insulated aerial access platforms are being deployed for the State Grid Corporation of China. The Qingte Group, a highly organized and professional organization, has won many honors for its enterprise and technology, and is a distributor for Versalift in China.

STATE GRID CORPORATION OF CHINA CHOOSES VERSALIFT AERIAL LIFTS

The State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC) is responsible for the ongoing management, maintenance and improvement of China’s huge electric power utility network. Currently overseeing major major infrastructure development projects, the SGCC is investing in China’s electric power grid at an unprecedented rate. An example of China’s infrastructure growth is the recent completion of an ultra-high voltage transmission line that spans the Yangtze River, and is perhaps the most ambitious UHV project ever undertaken. Versalift is very proud to be considered a high-quality supplier of truck-mounted insulated aerial access platforms for the State Grid Corporation of China.

THE FIRST GROUP OF HEAVY DUTY INSULATED AERIAL LIFTS IS DELIVERED

The first Versalift aerial lift units are destined for service in Beijing. This first group includes Versalift VST-6000-MHI units, mounted onto powerful, Chinese-made HOWO chasses.

The Category C, 46KV-rated insulated Versalift VST-6000-MHI offers up to 340kg bucket capacity and 454 kg material handling capacity. A 12.5 meter side reach provides additional flexibility, which allows linemen to be productive without impeding the regular flow of traffic. Also, a bucket elevator allows the the working height of the unit to reach an impressive 21 meters.

Other features of these Versalift aerial lifts include:

  • 180° hydraulic HD bucket rotator
  • Full pressure hydraulic controls
  • Battery powered hydraulic back up pump
  • Fully certified and in full compliance with ANSI A92.2

The Qingte Group of Qingdao has done an exemplary job with the installation of Versalift aerial lifts onto popular HOWO chassis, and the organization has further assembled and upfitted the vehicles with custom-made full line bodies, switches and additional kit.
